Original MedSurg Shoe
This Medium sized version of the Original MedSurg Shoe from the well respected Darco range is one of three fittings for men.
With a long and successful track record, it provides outstanding stability and control of the fore-foot and so helps to promote quicker post-operative recovery. The heel is well padded and reinforced so it will hold the foot securely and minimise the risk of slipping or other movement within the shoe.
The upper section is made from a lightweight, vapour permeable mesh that is comfortable to wear and that will accommodate bony protrusions on the surface of the foot without exerting painful pressure. The straps have a Velcro-style fastening, so they obviate the uncomfortable localised pressure that is sometimes associated with buckes, and they are long enough to close securely over even very bulky dressings.
