Original MedSurg Shoe
Part of the Darco range, this version of the Original MedSurg Shoe is supplied in the smallest of three fittings for women.
With a proven track record, it provides excellent stability and control of the fore-foot, thereby helping to promote swifter recovery after operations. The heel section is padded and reinforced so it cups the foot securely and minimises the risks of slipping or other movement within the shoe.
The upper section is made from a lightweight, vapour permeable material that is comfortable to wear and which will accommodate bony protrusions on the surface of the foot without exerting painful pressure. The straps require no buckles to close, so they obviate the risk of uncomfortable localised pressure, and they will close securely over even large dressings.
