This highly versatile Invacare Universal Sling has been uniquely diesnged to support the whole body including the shoulders.
Featuring a highly unique head support that ensures the users head is extremely well supported and enables this sling to offer the patient an extremely comfortable, slightly reclined position. The Invacare Universal Sling is manufactured using highly durable polyester which enables this sling to be used with all hoists that use hook and loop spreader bar systems e.g. Birdie Compact Folding Hoist. The Universal High Sling is ideal for use with those patients that have limited control of the head, trunk or hips or transfers to and from a lying position although it can be used for seated transfers. The Invacare Universal High Sling often preferred as an all-round sling for the elderly as it offers exceptional support for the whole body and provides the user with superior comfort as well as an unobstructed view. Highly versatile the Invacare Universal High Sling can be used without the head support by simply removing the plastic stays. This is the large sized Invacare Universal Polyester Sling with Head Support, ideal for users weighing 80kgs - 130kgs (12.5st - 20.5st); three other sizes and two different material types are also available in this section of the website.
