Mattress Genie
This Mattress Genie is a highly effective inflatable mattress elevator designed to be an alternative to bulky foam bed wedges and is suitable for use on virtually any type of bed.
Easy to use with the touch of a button on the hand held remote the head of the bed can be raised up to 660mm (26") high and any height inbetween, the remote also illuminates for night time use. The Mattress Genie's sturdily designed air bladder sits between the mattress and bed base providing optimum safety and will lift up to 500 lbs (35 st). When not in use simply press the ''flat'' button on the remote and the air bladder will deflate in moments leaving the bed completely flat and the air bladder will disappear from view therefore eliminating the issue of storage. To offer maximum safety the pump and handset are constructed from injection moulded plastic with screw fixings. For ultimate durability the air chamber is manufactured from two layers of polymer with an interwoven fabric layer between therefore minimising puncturing. The seams are double welded to reduce the chance of splitting and hereby offering years of excellent service. Medical experts recommend sleeping in an elevated position to alleviate conditions such as acid reflux, sinus congestion and snoring. The Mattress Genie is also ideal for assisting those who have difficulty in getting in and out of bed. Nursing mothers also love the Mattress Genie because it supports the ideal feeding position. It is also ideal for those recuperating from upper body surgery, where they need to rest in an elevated position.
