Hoist LOLER Test
This Care Service Plan covers a standard patient hoist or stand aid. To follow hoist regulations, a LOLER test is required after the first year, and then every six months following.
This performed LOLER test will ensure that Nursing Homes and other business users are following hoist regulations. For people being cared for in their own homes, your carers may require this type of plan but in general, hoists in private dwellings are not legally required to be tested. Saying that, this plan provides peace of mind and we believe that this service plan actually saves money in the long run as your hoist will be better maintained.
Please note: The hoist needs to be fully charged at the time of the test.
This test does not need to be included as part of an initial hoist installation
Following the Government Health and Safety Executive LOLER requirements, this Service Plan provides one LOLER test. The engineer will provide full LOLER certification. These regular checks will make sure that your hoist is maintained in excellent condition.
