The couch top is upholstered in memory foam that helps to reduce pressure and alleviate pain and strains in localised areas for total user comfort making it ideal for patients that are likely to be using the couch for prolonged periods of time. The quick and simple electrical height adjustment allows the carer to choose between a wide height range, allowing the couch top to be lowered to 550mm (21.5'') or raised to 1090mm (43'') ensuring the most comfortable position for both carer and patient is achieved. The Medicare Day Care Couch has four large wheels and a steering facility that greatly improves its manoeuvrability allowing the carer to move the couch to the desired location with ease, whilst the brakes on the front two castors provide excellent safety and security. Fold down padded side supports ensure the user does not fall from the couch, whilst the hardwearing upholstery of the supports and couch top will easily stand up to frequent use and can be wiped clean for excellent hygiene and cleanliness levels.
