The outstanding Drive Dual Wheel Powerstroll has been designed to convert your standard manual wheelchair into a powered attendant controlled one, and is one of the most reliable wheelchair motors available.
A must have wheelchair accessory, it helps to take the strain out of pushing a heavy wheelchair and makes easy work of hills, ramps and uneven surfaces. Its unique one click docking station means that you can fit or remove it easily, within seconds.
This Drive Dual Wheel Powerstroll will fit most standard wheelchairs with a seat width of up to 508mm (20") and is easily portable - supplied with a carry holdall with shoulder strap making transportation simple. It also has a push and slide battery removal system makes for easy charging.
Fitted with a simply designed hand controller that has a variable speed dial, forward/reverse functions, illuminated battery gauge and fingertip control. This controller also comes with full programmability and comprehensive fault management systems.
The Drive Dual Wheel Powerstroll has a powerful 150 watt, 24V motor making it capable of coping on most terrains and will travel up 10 miles (16 km) on a full battery charge, with a maximum speed of up to 4 mph. Suitable for use when you're travelling abroad, the Drive Dual Wheel Powerstroll has a maintenance free airline friendly 24V 12ah valve regulated sealed lead acid battery pack.
This is the standard Powerstroll with a combined user and wheelchair weight capacity of 135 kgs (21 stone), the heavy duty version is also available in this section of the website.
