In addition to the main phone unit, it includes one portable emergency buttons that can be worn around the wrist. Light, weatherproof and simple to use, they incorporate a simple alarm button that will activate the phone to call up to five telephone numbers in turn, stopping only when it makes a successful connection and conveys a recorded message. It then changes to speakerphone mode so the user can communicate even if he or she cannot get close to the handset. The system can also be used in reverse; a caller can enter a PIN code to activate the phone remotely and communicate with the user even if they cannot reach the handset itself.
