Homedics Non-Contact Infrared Body Thermometer
This Non-Touch Infrared Thermometer allows for a simple, accurate non-invasive and non-contact temperature reading to be made.
Simply align the thermometer with the middle of the forehead and press the scan trigger to take a temperature measurement. After the measurement has been taken there is a clear beep, beep, beep indication to confirm that is has been completed successfully.There is a large, clear colour coded, backlit, LCD display showing green for no fever, yellow for a slight fever and red for a high fever, along with the reading taken. The unit records the last 50 readings taken and is switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The ideal non-contact measuring distance is 1 – 5cm, and the reading takes less than 2 seconds. In order to save battery life, it has an auto off function after 18 seconds without use. The unit is also switchable so that surface readings can be taken of liquids, objects or the ambient air temperature.
